音楽を使ったインスタレーション。

ランドスケープデザイナー「WOODSMART」、デザインスタジオ「penotea studio」とのコラボレーション作品。

 

展示コンセプトは「ミュージックパーク」「ストリート」「インタラクティブ」。空間を「音楽メディア」のひとつと捉え、音楽・植栽・人感センサーを使って、下北沢の街中に音楽の公園を出現させた。

＜#1＞

バイオリン、ハープ、ピアノ、シンセサイザー、エレクトリックギターを主に使用。「人工的な自然」をテーマに神秘的で少し未来の森をイメージ。エレキギター、シンセサイザーで鳥の鳴き声を電子的に模したり、バイオリンやハープ、チェロのフレーズで神秘的な雰囲気を目指した。

＜#2＞

サックス、クラリネット、シンセベース、ハンドベル、アコースティックギターなどを使用。「植物のアンサンブル」をテーマに、プリミティブなフレーズを幾重に織り交ぜ、それぞれの植木が人々と交流を試みているような雰囲気を目指した。

​​＜#3 触る・香る＞

スティールパン、エレクトリックギターを使用。温州みかんの柑橘系の香り、酸味、苦味をエフェクトをかけたスティールパンのトレモロとギターのフレーズで表現。人感センサースピーカーにより、植栽に触れると楽曲が流れる。

＜#4 くぐる＞

アコースティックギター、ホイッスル、シンセサイザーを使用。風で木々が揺れる様子や、植物に集まる鳥や虫を音楽で表現。人感センサースピーカーにより、植栽の下をくぐり抜けると38種類の短い楽曲がランダムに流れる。

＜#5 座る＞

マリンバ、バイオリン、クラリネット、スティールパン、サックスを使用。座った人に周りの木々がゆるやかに反応していくような様子を音楽で表現。人感センサースピーカーにより、ベンチに腰掛けると28種類の短い楽曲が流れてくる。

Collaboration work with landscape designer "WOODSMART" and design studio "penotea studio".

 

The exhibition concept is "Music Park", "Street" and "Interactive". We viewed this space as one of the "Music media" and have created a musical park in the city of Shimokitazawa using music, plantings, and human sensors.

<#1>

The instruments are violin, harp, piano, synthesizer, and electric guitar. Under the theme of "Artificial Nature”, we expressed a mysterious and slightly futuristic forest with music. We imitated birdcalls by electric guitars and synthesizers , and create a mystical atmosphere by violin, harp, and cello phrases.

The instruments are saxophone, clarinet, synth bass, handbells, and acoustic guitar. Under the theme of “Plant's Ensemble”, we interweaved layers of primitive phrases to express the interaction between the planted trees and the people with music.

<#3 / Touching and Being Fragrant>

The instruments are steel pan and electric guitar. We expressed the citrus aroma, acidity, and bitterness of Satsuma Mandarins using steel pan tremolo with effects and guitar phrases. When you touch or smell the plants, human sensor speaker plays music.

<#4 / Walking Through>

The instruments are acoustic guitar, whistle, and synthesizer. We expressed the swaying of trees in the wind and birds and insects attracted to the plants with music. When you walk through the plants, human sensor speaker plays music 38 different short songs at random.

<#5 / Sitting on>

The instruments are marimba, violin, clarinet, steel pan, saxophone. We expressed the gentle response of the surrounding trees to the person sitting on the bench with the music. When you sit on the bench, human sensor speaker plays music 28 different short songs at random.
