音楽を使ったインスタレーション。

「株式会社GATARI」が開発するMixed Realityプラットフォーム「Auris」を使った没入型インスタレーションの音楽。

 

隅田川テラスに点在する石ブロック「名所江戸百景」や実際の隅田川の景色などから着想して楽曲を制作。空間を「音楽メディア」のひとつと捉え、隅田川テラスを歩く約600mに音楽の景色を作った。また、往路と復路で音楽が変化したり、ベンチに座ると音楽が流れる仕掛けを施した。

 

専用アプリ「Auris」をダウンロードすれば、自身のiPhoneやiPad（iOS 15.0以降が必要）でログインなしで体験することができる（2024年3月末まで公開予定）。

＜#1 千住の大はし＞

トランペット、アコースティックギター、パーカッションを使用。大名行列の行進のようなトランペットのリズムと、江戸の忙しさを多数のパーカッションで表現した。

＜#2 隅田川水神の森真崎＞

クラリネット、ガムラン、鈴を使用。さくらが舞い散るイメージと、水の瑞々しさと優雅さを音楽で表現した。

 

＜#3 墨田河橋場の渡かわら竈＞

エレクトリックギター、オルガン、ドラムを使用。竈から出る煙の様子をギターで、船で土を運ぶ様子をオルガンの地続きなフレーズで表現した。

＜#4 屋根のベンチ＞

ピアノ、エレクトリックピアノを使用。夕暮れの隅田川をイメージした、雰囲気の変化を感じやすい楽曲。また、ベンチに腰掛けると隅田川の波の変化をイメージした楽曲が鳴る仕掛けを施した。

＜#5 吾妻橋金竜山遠望＞

バイオリン、スチールパン、パーカッションを使用。水面を漂う舟やひらひらと舞う桜の花びらを音楽で表現した。

＜#6 浅草川首尾の松御厩河岸＞

キーボード、パーカッションを使用。夜空の星々や往来する小舟、揺らぐ川面を音楽で表現した。また、ベンチに腰掛けると、水鳥の鳴き声をイメージした楽曲が鳴る仕掛けを施した。

＜#7 浅草川大川端宮戸川＞

アコースティックベース、ピアノ、パーカッションを使用。大山詣りに出発する人々でにぎわう隅田川の様子を音楽で表現した。

​

＜#8 両国花火＞

シロフォン、アコーディオン、パーカッションを使用。打ち上がる様子や見物する船、行き交う人々を音楽で表現した。

 

Installation using music.
Music for an immersive installation using "Auris", a mixed reality platform developed by "GATARI Inc".

​

We composed music inspired by the "Meisho Edo Hyakkei" stone blocks scattered along the Sumida River Terrace and the actual scenery of the Sumida River, and considered the space as one of the "music media" and created a music scenery along the 600-meter walk along the Sumida River terrace. Also, it includes a contraption that changes the music as you go back and forth and as you sit on the benches.

<#1 Senju No Ohashi>

The instruments are trumpet, acoustic guitar and percussion. The rhythm of the trumpet, like the march of a daimyo's procession, and we expressed the busyness of Edo with numerous percussions.

​

<#2 Sumidagawa Suijin No Morimassaki>

The instruments are clarinet, gamelan, and bells. We expressed the dancing cherry blossoms and the freshness and elegance of the water with music.

​

<#3 Sumidagawa Hashiba No Watashi Kawaragama>

The instruments are electric guitar, organ and drums. We expressed the smoke coming out of the hearth using the guitar, and expressed transporting soil by boat using the organ.

<#4 Bench with Roof>

The instruments are piano and electric piano. The music expresses the Sumida River at dusk, and the change in atmosphere can be easily felt. Also, We set up a contraption that, when you sat down on the bench, would play a piece of music inspired by wave changes in the Sumida River.

<#5 Azumabashi Kinryuzan Enbou>

The instruments are violin, steel pan, and percussion. We expressed boats drifting on the surface of the water and fluttering petals of cherry blossoms with music.

​

<#6 Asakusagawa Syubi No Matsu Oumayagashi>

The instruments are keyboards and percussion. We expressed the stars in the night sky, small boats coming and going, and the shimmering surface of the river with music. Also, We set up a contraption that, when you sat down on the bench, would play a piece of music inspired by the chirping of waterfowl.

<#7 Asakusagawa Okawabata Miyatogawa>

The instruments are acoustic bass, piano and percussion. We expressed the scene of the Sumida River bustling with people departing on pilgrimages to Oyama with music.

​

<#8 Ryogoku Hanabi>

The instruments are xylophone, accordion and percussion. We expressed the fireworks, the boats watching, and the people passing by with music.

​
