音楽を使ったインスタレーション。

中之条ビエンナーレ2023のアーティスト、渡邊辰吾の作品「鏡界の鳥居」の1日限りの音楽。

 

コンセプトは「プリミティヴ」「循環」「歪み」。ガムランや雅楽などの要素を取り入れながら、鳥居の境界や周辺の森の生態系、気配、遠近を音楽で表現。

 

また、Yamanofoodlaboによる共食の儀「naoriai /なおりあい」では、サンプラーを使った即興演奏を行なった。

 

＜#1＞

ボナン・バロン、ボナン・パヌロスを使用。即興演奏をベースにした、#2と対になるような浮遊感のある楽曲。

＜#2＞

シロフォン、バイオリン、ガンバンを使用。即興演奏をベースにした、#1と対になるような神秘的な楽曲。

​

＜#3＞

銅鑼、ゴング・アグン、クンポル、キーボード、トランペット、ホワイトノイズなどを使用。ドローン（持続音）をベースにしつつ、時おり動きをつけた瞑想的な楽曲。

​

＜#4＞

人感センサーSeaを使用。付近を通過すると境界の歪み表現した7種類の短い楽曲がランダムに流れる仕掛けを施した。

＜#5＞

ピアノを使用。モジュレーションをかけた、現世とあの世を繋ぐ幽玄な響きを表現した楽曲。

 

＜#6＞

シンセサイザーを使用。様々なエフェクトをかけたミニマルなフレーズを用いた、赤岩神社の生態系を表現した楽曲。

＜#7＞

アコースティックギターと鈴を使用。バイオリンの弓でギターを弾きドローン風のアレンジにした。プリミティブで雅楽をイメージした楽曲。

＜#8＞

人感センサーSeaを使用。作品の入り口を通ると、ガムランの合図がなるような仕掛けを施した。

Installation using music.

One-day-only music for "Torii in the Mirror World" by Shingo Watanabe, an artist of Nakanojo Biennale 2023.

 

The music concept is "Primitive", "Circulation" and "Distortion". We expressed the boundaries of the torii gate, the ecosystem of the surrounding forest, signs of life, and perspective with music incorporating elements of gamelan and gagaku (ancient Japanese court music).

Also, in "naoriai" by Yamanofoodlabo, we improvised using a sampler.

The instruments are bonang barung and bonang panerus. Based on improvisation, this floating piece is a counterpart to #2.​

The instruments are xylophone, violin and gambang. Based on improvisation, this mysterious piece is a counterpart to #1.

<#3>

The instruments are gongs, gong ageng, kempul, keyboards, trumpet, white noise. A meditative piece based on drone (sustained sound) but with occasional movement.​

​

<#4>

Using human sensor Sea. When visitors pass through the vicinity, seven different short pieces of music expressing the distortion of the boundary are played at random.

The instruments is piano. Modulated sound, this piece expresses an ethereal sound that connects this world and the next.

​

<#6>

The instruments is synthesizer. Minimalistic phrases with various effects, this piece expresses the ecosystem of the Akaiwa Shrine.

​

<#7>

The instruments are acoustic guitar and bells. The guitar was played with violin bow to create a drone-like arrangement. Primitive, Gagaku-inspired music.

​

<#8>

Using human sensor Sea. When visitors pass through the entrance of the work, they will hear a gamelan signal.
