複数の音楽/スピーカーを使った空間デザイン。

沖縄県那覇市の医療機関「那覇市立病院」の音楽。

​

音楽コンセプトは「結い」「導く」「首里」。

デザインコンセプトなどから着想を得て、EV内・EVホール（1F～4F）・化学療法待合・リハビリ室と、場所に合わせた楽曲制作。

 

EVの3曲と1F～4FまでのフロアごとのEVホールの4曲がズレ続けながらも重なり合い、音楽で空間や人を繋ぐ。この場所ならではの機能的で安心できるやさしい音楽を目指した。

 

＜EV #1＞
テーマは「石畳」。ピアノ、石畳の音を使用。琉球民謡の旋律を再解釈しつつ、石の手ざわりや吹く風を音楽で表現した静謐な楽曲。

＜EV #2＞
テーマは「森」。アコースティックギター、末吉公園の環境音を使用。琉球民謡の旋律を再解釈しつつ、木々のざわめきや鳥の鳴き声を音楽で表現した穏やかな楽曲。

＜EV #3＞
テーマは「波」。マリンバ、波の上ビーチの音を使用。琉球民謡の旋律を再解釈しつつ、波のリズムやゆらぎを音楽で表現したリラックスできる楽曲。

​＜EVホール 1F＞
テーマは「7月」。スティールパン、ピアノ、アコースティックギター、マリンバを使用。首里に吹く潮風をイメージした音色と、琉球古典音楽や琉球舞踊の間合いを取り入れた楽曲。

​

＜EVホール 2F＞
テーマは「8月」。ウドゥ、ピアノ、アコースティックギター、マリンバを使用。海の飛沫をイメージした音色と琉球古典音楽や琉球舞踊の間合いを取り入れた楽曲。

​

＜EVホール 3F＞
テーマは「9月」。クラリネット、ピアノ、アコースティックギター、マリンバを使用。夏の終わりから秋にかけての緩やかな空気と入道雲をイメージした柔らかい音色が印象的な楽曲。

​

＜EVホール 4F＞
テーマは「10月」。バイオリン、ピアノ、アコースティックギター、マリンバを使用。琉球舞踊の秋の祭りや、儀式的な雰囲気を持った凛とした楽曲。

​

＜化学療法室（朝・昼・夕）＞

テーマは「アロマ」。クラシックギターを使用。漂うアロマをイメージした、浮遊感のある抽象的な楽曲。朝昼夕と時間によって、テンポや調性、フレーズが変化する。

​

＜リハビリ室 #1〜#4＞
テーマは「動き出したくなる音楽」。アコースティックギター、シンセベース、ハンドベル、スティールパン、ウドゥ、ピアノ、パーランクー、三板などを使用。三線や波のリズムを思わせるギター、生命力の強い那覇の植物群をイメージしたベースやパーカッションを不規則に織り交ぜた、自然の中にいるような楽曲。

Music for "Naha City Hospital", a medical institution in Naha City, Okinawa.

The music concept is "Connect", "Lead" and "Shuri".

We composed the songs for each location, EV, EV halls (1F-4F), chemotherapy room and rehabilitation room, inspired from the design concept.

​

Three songs for EV, and four songs for EV hall from the 1-4F continuously overlap while maintaining their distinct rhythms, connecting spaces and people through music. We aimed for functional, reassuring, gentle music unique to this location.

​<EV #1>
Theme is "Stone-paved". The instruments are piano and the sound of stone-paved. Reinterpreting Ryukyu Folk Songs. A serene composition expressing the feel of stone and the blowing wind through music.

​​​

​<EV #2>

Theme is "Woods". The instruments are acoustic guitar, ambient sounds from Sueyoshi Park. Reinterpreting Ryukyu Folk Songs. A gentle piece expressing the rustling of trees and birdsong through music.

​

​<EV #3>

Theme is "Wave". The instruments are marimba and the sound of Naminoue Beach. Reinterpreting Ryukyu Folk Songs. A relaxing piece of music expressing the rhythm and sway of waves.

<EV Hall 1F>
Theme is "July". The instruments are steel pan, piano, acoustic guitar, and marimba. The music incorporating the sound of the sea breeze blowing through Shuri and the rhythmic pauses found in Ryukyuan classical music and dance.

​<EV Hall 2F>

Theme is "August". The instruments are udu, piano, acoustic guitar, and marimba. The music incorporating the timbre of ocean spray and the rhythmic pauses found in Ryukyuan classical music and dance.

​

​<EV Hall 3F>

Theme is "September". The instruments are clarinet, piano, acoustic guitar, and marimba. The music is a piece characterized by the gentle air of late summer and early autumn and a soft, cumulus-cloud-like tone.

​

​<EV Hall 4F>

Theme is "October". The instruments are violin, piano, acoustic guitar, and marimba. The music is a dignified piece with autumn festivals of Ryukyu dance and a ceremonial atmosphere.

​

​<Chemotherapy Room (Morning, Noon, Evening)>

Theme is "Aroma". The instruments are classical guitar. The music is an abstract piece with a floating sensation like drifting aromas. Its tempo, tonality, and phrasing change throughout the day—morning, noon, and evening.

​

<Rehabilitation Room #1-#4>

Theme is "Music that makes you want to move". The instruments are acoustic guitar, synth bass, handbells, steelpan, udu, piano, paranku and sanba. The Music that feels like being in nature, weaving together guitar rhythms reminiscent of the sanshin and waves, and bass and percussion as irregularly intertwined as the resilient plants of Naha.
