複数の音楽/スピーカーを使った空間デザイン。

六本木ヒルズ森タワーの屋内展望台、東京シティビュー「天空のクリスマス」の音楽。

音楽のコンセプトは「静穏」「クリスマス」「冬の粒子」。

イベントコンセプトや装飾デザインなどから着想を得て、6曲制作。

 

ZONE1の導入～ZONE2のメイン展示～ZONE3の余韻と、各エリアごとに雰囲気に変化をつけつつ、東京シティビューからの眺めやメイン展示のクリスマスツリーをしっとりと静かに楽しめるような、この場所ならではの音楽を目指した。スカイギャラリー2の各所から流れる6種類の楽曲がズレ続けながらも空間で混ざり合うことでひとつの音楽を形作る。

＜#1＞

エレクトリックピアノ、バイオリン、グラナイトブロック、スレイベル、ハンドベル、ウインドチャイムを使用。天空のたゆたう雲を音楽で表現。クリスマスの気配を感じさせるパーカッションを背景に、じんわりとした和音とスーッと伸びた弦の音が聴こえてくる、メインエリアへの導入として静かな高揚感を感じられる楽曲。

アコースティックギター、バイオリン、エレクトリックピアノ、ベルを使用。フェードインしてくるギターのバッキングや、抽象的なベルのフレーズを用いて、メインエリアへの導線の高揚感やクリスマスの雰囲気を感じられる楽曲。

＜#3＞

ピアノ、エレクトリックピアノ、ベル、クラリネット、シンセサイザー、アコースティックギターを使用。夜のクリスマスツリーのライティングや光の反射などを音楽で表現。ギターのハーモニクスやリバーブの深いベルを用いた、幻想的で温かみのある楽曲。

ピアノ、スレイベルを使用。都市の夜に星が降り注ぐようなイメージを音楽で表現。余白のあるシンプルな構成、遠近感のある和音、有機的な即興フレーズを組み合わせた、静謐で幻想的な楽曲。

＜#5＞

バイオリン、チェロ、ベル、シンセサイザーなどを使用。リバーブやディレイの音加工を施したオーケストラのサウンドに、シンセサイザーで変化させたベルの音色、時折フェードインするモジュラーシンセサイザーの音などを用いて、クリスマスの夜の帰り道や余韻を表現した楽曲。

＜#6＞

エレクトリックピアノ、バイオリン、シンセサイザー、アコースティックギター、ハンドベルなどを使用。雪がしんしんと降る様子を音楽で表現。しっとりとした雰囲気の即興的な和音の連なりを下地に、弦のピチカートなどのフレーズを織り交ぜた、冬の静寂を感じられるような楽曲。

Music for "Christmas in the sky 2025" at Tokyo City View, the indoor observation deck in Roppongi Hills Mori Tower.

The music concept are "Serenity", "Christmas" and "Winter Particles".

Inspired by the event’s concept and decorative design, six pieces were composed.

 

From the introduction in Zone1, to the main exhibition in Zone2, and the afterglow in Zone3, each area features its own atmosphere while maintaining music that feels unique to this place—allowing visitors to quietly enjoy both the view from Tokyo City View and the central Christmas tree display. Six different pieces play simultaneously from various spots throughout Sky Gallery 2, continuously shifting out of sync while blending into a single musical space.

The instruments are electric piano, violin, granite blocks, sleigh bells, handbells, and wind chimes. This piece expresses drifting clouds in the sky through sound. With Christmas-like percussion in the background, gradually swelling chords and smoothly extending strings create a sense of calm anticipation—serving as a gentle introduction to the main area.

The instruments are acoustic guitar, violin, electric piano, and bells. The fading-in guitar backing and abstract bell phrases evoke both the rising excitement of approaching the main area and the atmosphere of Christmas.

<#3>

The instruments are piano, electric piano, bells, clarinet, synthesizer, and acoustic guitar. This piece sonically portrays the nighttime illumination of the Christmas tree and the reflections of light. Harmonics on guitar and deeply reverberant bells create a warm and fantastical sound.

<#4>

The instruments are piano and sleigh bells. This piece represents the image of stars raining down over the city at night. A simple structure with plenty of space, chords with a sense of spatial depth, and organic, improvisational phrases come together to form a serene and dreamlike piece.

<#5>

The instruments are violin, cello, bells, synthesizer, and more. Orchestral sounds processed with reverb and delay, bell tones transformed through synthesizers, and occasionally fading-in modular synth textures express the feeling of a Christmas night on the way home and its lingering afterglow.

The instruments are electric piano, violin, synthesizer, acoustic guitar, handbells, and more. This piece expresses quietly falling snow. Built on a foundation of gentle, improvisatory chord progressions, it weaves in pizzicato strings and other phrases, creating music that conveys winter’s stillness.
