​

複数の音楽/スピーカーを使った空間デザイン。

六本木ヒルズ森タワーの屋内展望台、東京シティビュー「天空のはつみそら」の音楽。
 

音楽のコンセプトは「はつみそら」「ハレ」「正月」。

イベントコンセプトや装飾デザインなどから着想を得て、6曲制作。

 

ZONE1の導入～ZONE2のメイン展示～ZONE3の余韻と、各エリアごとに雰囲気に変化をつけつつ、東京シティビューからの眺めやメイン展示の正月の雰囲気、1年の始まりを清々しく過ごせるような、この場所ならではの音楽を目指した。スカイギャラリー2の各所から流れる6種類の楽曲がズレ続けながらも空間で混ざり合うことでひとつの音楽を形作る。

＜#1＞

太鼓、大正琴、石琴、バイオリンなどを使用。神社の結界や遠くで太鼓やお囃子が鳴っているような元旦の雰囲気を音楽で表現。メインの展示に繋がる、呼び水となる楽曲。

＜#2＞

​マリンバ、鈴、エレクトリックギターを使用。落としのリズムをマリンバの和音で表現。メインの展示の期待感を待たせる楽曲。

＜#3＞

シンセサイザー、鈴、拍子木、琴などを使用。雅楽で使用される笙の和音をシンセサイザーでドローン風に置き換え、時折琴の旋律や拍子木、鈴のリズムも加えた。初詣の時の幽玄な空気感を音楽で表現した楽曲。

 

＜#4＞

琴、シタール、マリンバ、笛子、バイオリンなどを使用。日本の伝統音楽の音色や音列、間などを現代的な楽器も交えつつ、再解釈し構成。厳かなトーンの中に少し軽やかさを加えた、正月の「ハレ」の雰囲気を清らかに感じられる楽曲。

シンセサイザー、琴、鈴を使用。ZONE2の残香をイメージし、同曲で使用したモチーフをステップシーケンサーで処理し、リズムやリバーブ、EQに変化を加えた、お香のように漂うような楽曲。

＜#6＞

大正琴、柏手、ソプラノサックス、チャランゴ、シンセサイザー、リンリンカチカチなどを使用。日本の伝統音楽の音色や音列、間などを現代的な楽器も交えつつ、再解釈し構成。初詣の余韻のような、凛とした浮遊感のある楽曲。

​Spatial design using multiple music/speakers.

Music for "The First Sky of the New Year" at Tokyo City View, the indoor observation deck in Roppongi Hills Mori Tower.

The music concept is "Hatsumisora", "Hare" and "New Year".
Inspired by the event concept and decorative design, six pieces were composed.

​

From the introduction in Zone 1, to the main exhibition in Zone 2, and the lingering afterglow in Zone 3, each area features a distinct atmosphere while maintaining music unique to this place—designed to complement the view from Tokyo City View, the New Year–themed main installation, and the refreshing sense of beginning the year. Six different pieces play simultaneously from various points throughout Sky Gallery 2, continuously shifting out of sync while blending together to form a single musical space.

<#1>
The instruments are taiko drums, taishogoto, stone chimes, and violin. The music expresses the atmosphere of New Year’s Day, evoking the sense of sacred boundaries around a shrine and the distant sound of drums and festival music, serving as an inviting prelude that leads into the main exhibition.

<#2>
The instruments are marimba, bells, and electric guitar. The music uses marimba chords to articulate a restrained, falling rhythm, creating a sense of anticipation and holding expectation for the main exhibition.

<#3>
The instruments are synthesizer, bells, hyoshigi clappers, and koto. The music reinterprets the harmonies of the sho used in gagaku as drone-like synthesizer textures, with occasional koto melodies and rhythmic accents from clappers and bells, expressing the mysterious and reverent atmosphere of a first shrine visit of the year.

The instruments are koto, sitar, marimba, dizi flute, and violin. The music reimagines the timbres, scales, and sense of space found in traditional Japanese music through a blend of contemporary instruments, creating a dignified yet lightly buoyant tone that conveys the purity and celebratory spirit (Hare) of the New Year.

The instruments are synthesizer, koto, and bells. The music reflects the lingering afterimage of Zone 2, processing motifs from the previous piece through step sequencing while altering rhythm, reverb, and EQ, drifting gently through the space like the scent of incense.

 

<#6>
The instruments are taishogoto, hand claps, soprano saxophone, charango, synthesizer, and small percussion. The music reinterprets the timbres, scales, and sense of space of traditional Japanese music with contemporary elements, creating a clear, floating atmosphere that echoes the quiet afterglow of a New Year’s shrine visit.
